Hey Friends! Just a word of advice for those in the planning process. Many clients ask about having different songs played for each couple during the introductions into their wedding. What most do not realize is that it takes approximately 10 seconds or less to walk from the entrance doors to the dance floor at most wedding venues. This is simply not enough time to even establish what song we are playing to your audience. In my professional opinion, this sounds way too choppy and has no rhythm or flow to the introductions. There is one way this can work and that is if you give each couple “their song” weeks in advance and they practice a routine (sometimes with props) and work / dance to the song for at least 30-45 seconds. Then your guests will be entertained and the music will sound right with a much better flow. Using one song for your entire wedding party always works best in keeping the energy level high and kicking your party off in an exciting fashion.
